I loved re-signing this living room. I like the subtle color theme of the camel, black and white. I was able to use everything this client had and just re-hung these picture from different rooms of her house. She had great items to pick from and both she and I loved the outcome!
This room is a smaller room with not a lot of natural light. I came up with the idea to paint the accent wall on the piano wall to not only showcase the piano more but to brighten up the room and make it feel larger. I was very pleased with the outcome of the soft and subtle green color that complimented the painting nicely. The light splashes of cream throughout the room makes this sitting room feel more open and airy.
This is such a family friendly, cozy family room! I love the olive and red colors the client already had. She had a lot of different pictures and paintings to pick from. I enjoyed coming up with the groupings for the walls and placing all fo the decorations.
This bedroom was such a pleasure to create. The cool blues and greens make this master bedroom feel like a retreat, with its calming feel. I enjoyed finding all of the furtiture, bedding, art work and decore at different thrift stores. And I loved the outcome of the white chair rail against the ocean blue and chocolate brown color on the walls. I love this room!
This kitchen was quite the project. I was able to refinish the cabinets my self, install the cabinet hardware and paint the walls. I love the pops of white, greys and reds to make this kitchen very updated and current.
This room was originally set up as a sitting/music room with a piano and bench. I had the oppertunity to competely remake the entire main level of this home and we started with creating this beautiful dining room that people first see when then walk in this home. The client had amazing pieces to decorate this room. She had so many antiques and special pieces to create this room in being so personal and warm. It has such a rich feeling.
What a joy this was to create! It was such a fun project creating the paint techniques on the walls. The client had all of the oak furniture, so we wanted to find a bedding that was soft and light, yet was fun to play off of the green walls. Wa-la! The accent colors of pale pink, cranberry pink and watermelon pink make this nursery have such a great and fun feel to it.
I really enjoyed creating this sophisticated space. I was able to help the client pick out the new leather furniture and redesign the room by moving the furniture and moving the piano on the vaulted wall from their old piano room. It makes a great focal point when you first walk into the home.
